Can anyone tell me why a MY2019 T8 now only has 390 HP, where the previous models were rated at 407 HP. I have heard there is another filter someplace in the fuel/exhaust system that is giving the reduction. I'm just wondering as I am due to pick up my MY2019 XC90 in September.

I do not know the exact reasons, but was told by dealer it related fuel emissions and added filters etc. I was a bit miffed to.

Although in part could be to how they actually rate Power Output now, in the motorbike world some time last year pretty well all motorbikes were down graded, when I bought my Ducati 2015, it was rated at 160 BHP, but was down rated to officially be 152 BHP earlier this year or last. funny how the insurance Companies still classify it at 160 though

Insurace Companies do classify MY19 as 390 and MY18 as 407

Cheers for that. I have also noted that there is no Polestar upgrade available, hopefully that will be coming as I've read on other posts that it makes a difference.

I was told it was not available yet 6 weeks ago, but funny how the polestar web site lists it, I have not tried to get it done yet, sort of waiting for the 3 month check over
