Default Fuse Box

Hello,
I have the XC90, 2016. Great car - love it to bits.
However, I switched on the heated Drivers seat a few days ago and it will not heat. I wondered if the fuse has blown, but cannot find the internal fuse box.
The graphics show it as under the glove box. I can't find a fuse box there.
Am I being dim? Does anybody know where this fuse box is, please?
Thanks. RG

Hi Robert, did you ever find the location of this? if it is under the carpet can you say which carpet?

Like you my manual suggests it should be under the glove compartment but nothing is there!

thanks in advance.

I have had exactly the same issue with the driver’s side heated seat on my 66 plate XC90. Did changing the fuse work?

if the fuse location is on the passenger side in the manual, it will be on the driver side instead. the screws are harder to find, but the process to access them is broadly the same.

Its uder the steering wheel area on RHD XC90 and you will need a Torx screwdriver to get the panel off. Stupid, stupid bit of design implementation from Volvo. And the fuse descriptions are equally crap in may cases.
