Default V50 updated rear anti roll bar

Anyone have a link where I can find a reasonable one of these. Have replaced shocks and springs and this is the next step. Saw somewhere before that a updated one for a focus St also fits? Thanks for any feedback

I've got a C30, only a D2 but put B4s on it and v impressed with the handling so thought maybe it deserves a rear ARB.
I'm a fan of the Whiteline ones. I emailed their tech and he confirmed the Focus ST ones will fit our types of Volvo. BUT, they have vertical tabs and unfortunately mine has horizontal tabs.
So if you have the vertical tabs, looks like two Whitelines will fit. Both are two way adjustable. Both cost £167.50

Hardrace do a 2 way adjustable 22mm which is cheap at £105.99 but it is a hollow bar, not solid steel so I'm not sure how much stiffer it would actually be - torsional stiffness??
There is also the Elevate. It is 3 way adjustable 24.5mm. Expensive. I believe Kalmar Union do these.

I've got a Whiteline chart that tells you the stiffness increase you get going from one diameter to a bigger one. Which you might find useful.

Hi, just found this, having posted to ask if anyone has any idea if the Hard race ones are any good should have gone for the search first!

I, like you, was wondering what the difference it being hollow would make to the stiffness. This companylists them as being 62% stiffer than stock, which would make sense as your Whiteline comparison chart states that 19-22mm change in solid bar would be 80% stiffer.

From a physics point of view: if it is relatively thick walled tube, that would make sense, as the central core isn't really doing as much as the sides when looking at torsional strength.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.

I seem to be a bit late to the party here with my V50 (08 2.4i). While there is a wealth of information about these bars, so far all the products and vendors I have seen recommended in other threads and forums appear to be long-gone.

My car currently has the straight links, so horizontal bar tabs, and I'm struggling to find a suitable (upgrade) bar without importing a rather pricey Elevate one from America. Though there are enough vertical tab bars available Whiteline, Hardrace etc..

It appears swapping out the links to the L shape (to accommodate the vertical tabs) is ok, but from reading previous posts can often end up with knocking or slight misalignment. Does anyone have experience of this?

I would welcome any suggestions here, and/or feel free to tell me I'm talking nonsense.
