Smile my C70 Restore mission

Thank you to everyone who has given me advice on how to restore my C70 convertible 2001 Mk1 its a lovely car and I am enjoying the process.

There are still things to be done and I am working a little bit with the local Volvo dealership but not too much.

1. Canvass is coming away from the glass. Wish to reglue has anyone any idea what is the right type of adhesive to use? I found some suckers/holders that will hold it down for 24 hours so no problem in positioning it once I found the right glue.

2. I am going to buy a couple of hours of Volvo maintainance time in Ghandia here in Spain it’s £60 per hour which I think is reasonable. But I want to buy some of the parts in and take them a long to the service session to make things more manageable. Does anyone know of the best supplier in Europe for things such as brake pads, discs and shoes?

3. I want to change my Transmission Oil. It’s automatic. Is this something I could do myself and where can I find the best oil (not necessarily what is in the manual which is 19 years old) for putting in/changing the auto box oil with?

Thank you guys and girls for all your help.

Richard
