Default Brake calipers for painting, phase 2 2003

I know they are Lucas not Volvo, and I've been looking around, but can't find them for sale in many places. Pagid ones from Eurocarparts are about £360 for the calipers alone.

So before I spend £250 getting my own refurbished and painted, anyone know if I can get them new elsewhere for better value?

EDIT: never mind I found this thread

Carfactorsuk via eBay charge £42 delivered for recon rear phase 2 calipers and then pay £10 each for your old ones (and have provided a postage paid return bag the last couple of times I've used them) making a net cost of £32 per side - a really good deal in my opinion.

Not sure when you talk about painting them whether you mean painting them silver or another colour? When receiving an order from Carfactorsuk they have always included a flyer advertising a service to paint your new calipers to any colour you want - if you're thinking about going for a non-standard colour (yellow?) then it might be worth enquiring as to their charge for this?

Not sure of colour, whether it'd be black, silver, yellow or Polestar blue.

I have a full set of calipers (almost new less than 2yrs old) from my V40 T4 2001(phase 2).

They are OE spec, but not from Volvo. Make me an offer..

Thumbs up

BM, I think the Lucas ARE what Volvo use.

That is the make of mine and the set I put into the brake calliper refurbishing initiative.

Who has the spare set now?

Here are my blue ones, just done this week.
