Im interested in the 2010 ones if they are still available as mine are 2008 at present. Why the switch to Subaru? |

Backhill,
Yes they are still available so if you PM me a telephone number I can contact you. I switched makes as I sold our caravan and then looked at our current and envisaged motoring needs. The XC70 was a smashing car but too large for us on its own. Also being diesel and with DPF I didn't use it for short trips and sometimes would have to take it out for a run just to keep things working. Last year it only did 6k miles. The Subaru is petrol, no turbo, chain cam etc and the 5 year 100k warranty appealed. They also have a very good reliability record and came high up in both US and EU crash tests including low angle front impact. It does better on fuel mpg and its 6-8p a litre cheaper. Plus insurance and VED were less but that wasn't a driver. One significant factor was our local Volvo dealer, MRG, recently changed to Subaru and I rate them as a garage.
