New C30 D5 Owner with brake judder
Hi all
My first post so please be gentle. I just bought a 2007 2.4 D5 Auto. High mileage (140k) but dealer service and it drives great. One small issue, driving home tonight from picking it up in Bristol, at higher speeds when braking, there was quite a bit of judder. Feels like discs maybe warped? Be good to get your view on what are the possible issues and if i can change myself easy enough. One other thing, can you retrofit Bluetooth to the stereo? seen this on ebay "GENUINE VOLVO C30 2006-2013 BLUETOOTH MODULE RELAY 0141298Z05" Cheers and thanks for all your help. |

regarding bluetooth.. basically no. if you have the USB and Aux in options you can use this input and retrofit an aftermarket bluetooth module. If you dont have aux/usb from factory you are basically out of luck, all the options are expensive Last edited by lockstock; Oct 13th, 2019 at 21:17. |

if you search CV drive shaft vibration, lots of threads you can see if your symptoms match. As yours is brake related if could be as simple as a worn/warped disk, damaged carier.. spent pads or something else easy. Because it's brake related get the car on a ramp, get the wheels off and inspect the brakes asap to be on safe side. No it's very difficult to add an aux port if not nigh impossible/expensive. again lots of threads on this. People tend to go with the FM transmitter modules and use the radio... they work pretty well and offer bluetooth and they are cheap |
