Default Adding 4C Air suspension late on

Hello Forum.
I'm expecting my car in September - ordered in Feb. A T8 inscription with almost every option except 4C air and B&W.

Been seeing a few reviews about how good the air is on the 2017 models and I'm now wondering if I missed a trick by not adding it in. My last date of change is not for another 9 days or so; so I spoke to dealer about it. He reckons it might change my build slot and could drop me down to December as its a major change. Apparently someone changed colour and it added a couple of weeks to the order. He doesn't know if it will cause any additional delays for me but is recommending to leave well alone and not risk it by making any changes now.

Anyone else had experience of this? Adding a major option so close to the "locked-in" date for the order?

I decided not to add air, due to cost but mainly due to a bad experience on a Mercedes with air. I found that the struts will go and when they do they are very expensive to replace. If you are only keeping it through the warranty then no problem. I doubt if they can be fitted after without huge cost.
