I know I'm getting a bit anal, but I think I'll try to keep the 240 as it came from the showroom so I'll pass on the chrome trims for now.

It's been in the family from new so it would be nice to keep it original.

As my "hobby" is hotrods and customising, they are all waiting for the small block Chevy and blower....

Depends how exact you want to be..................

The picture you posted doesn't look like it's a cover that would have been fitted to an '87. The plastic trims had the Volvo logo applied as a transparent sticker (in a shallow centre recess) until approx 1991, when it changed to being printed on, like yours.

The 'spokes' or vanes at the outer edge on the one in your picture also look a bit more sharply defined than others I've seen - any chance they are aftermarket (probably no longer available from Volvo).

I may be wrong but I would think this may be a pic he has found as an example, looks like a 15" 740 trim?
