It might help to know what your problem is … and either change the tank pump or the main pump under the floor for the correct one ..

I’ll properly grab a standard in tank pump from brook house. I know it will work then.

I think you will over time find it useful to know if it is K jet or LH.

Looking at the engine, is there a lovely big flat topped lump of metal provided as a stand for a china cup of first growth Darjeeling?

Or you might be able to post a photograph of the engine.

I know too little but other people will be able to help.

Following on from this post iv fitted a new under car fuel pump 6 bar which is the correct pressure and changed the intank pump for what I believe is a good second hand one which I saved,,,the car is running a little better but not 100% the day after I changed the main fuel pump I started the car and it was down a cylinder not done it again since as my pump under car is still a tad noisy for my liking being a new pump I will try another tank pump tomorrow as there’s a slim chance it could be that,,are there any kjet wizards on here which can suggest anything else?? the problem seems to be lower revs when it picks up it pulls fine the car had been off the road about 3 years prior to me getting it useable again so anything under bonnet I should be looking into it has a brand new fuel filter
