This looks like a winner from my research so far, but what I did want to know was where does everyone run there usb socket too?
I saw one guy has his coming out of a coin holder- which is where my minidisc player is!
Any suggestions?

Anyone tried one of these? It’d be good to hear from someone before I pull the trigger.?

Got one in my 2005 D5, works really well
Just remember to remove all CD before unplugging unit, and disconnect battery in the correct way
final thing is you may need to have the MOST security disabled, (5 minute job using VIDA) otherwise the unit shuts down after about a minute

What is the most security? A kind of anti theft?

Also which is the correct way to disconnect the battery?

MOST security is anti-theft

To disconnect battery, turn off car and remove key

Leave the trunk open to activate the trunk lamp
Wait until all systems shut down and trunk lamp goes off, about 10 minutes
Wait another 5 minutes
Then disconnect negative lead
