Default Dash Bulbs

Hi

Before the website crash and loss of data there was a thread around S60 DIM bulbs. I asked which colour holder related to which wattage bulb.

I'm pretty sure I know have the info

Black holders = 3w bulb
There are 5 in total and they control the 'background' illumination

Blue holders = 1.2w bulb
There are 4 in total and they control the left and right green indicator arrows, the blue high beam warning light and the blue 'hazzards on' warning light (on the bottom right of the DIM)

Grey holders = 2w bulb
There are 4 in total and they control the illumination of the 3 LCD screens

The blue and grey may be the wrong way round. can anyone confirm?

many thanks

I am now in a position to confirm this. My colour to wattage list above is correct. As a further point of order, the part numbers:

942327 = 1.2w bulb
9128743 = blue holder (for 1.2w bulb)
9472109 = 3w bulb and black holder combined
9472110 = 2w bulb and grey holder combined

Who knows why the blue one is 2 parts and the black and grey are one!?

Hope this helps someone

Chris

Thanks for the info.

For the record the current list price of 9472110 is £2.65.

Since buying my s80 the DIM has not worked, but noticed a faint display so I presumed the bulbs had gone. Took the thing to bits to get to display and found no bulbs or holders. Had anyone got the part codes or details for the bulbs and holders ? It has Green printed on the PCB so I am presuming that thay are different to the Grey, Blue and Black ones in the rest of the display.
Cheers for any info Col
