Default Radio interference

My 2013 V40 fm radio (non dab) has developed an interference crackle on the fm band, it has got steadily worse over the last few weeks on radio 2 and radio 4. Has anyone else suffered this? I wondered if there was an aerial amp that might have a bad connection but not sure where it might be located in the car?
Any help appreciated.

Hi, just seen this, I've got a xc90 2004, mine also do's this and very annoying, FYI, my XC hasn't got a aerial lead in the back of the radio like a standard radio, haven't found anyone else yet with the same issue or a fix!

I removed a recently fitting usb charger bought from eBay from the 12v socket, the interference was not there on the return journey, will keep you posted about the issue.
