I've been having trouble starting... Generally from cold so suspected the glow plugs. Saw YouTube video of a guy testing the glow plugs... He said it was easy. So attempted my own test.
The leads connecting to the glow plugs seem to have perished. They have broken at the right angle and I can pull the connector which probably connects to the glow plug straight through the remaining part. The wiring loom looks intense. How much should I expect to pay to have the loom replaced? Can new ends be put on? What options do I have? Should I put WD40 on the plugs to protect them a bit? Thanks! |
