Default Full cam belt replacement last of parts

Chaps,

Help me out here.

XC90 2008 Manual, 2.4 D5.

Im going to make double sure my car has every part changed regarding the cam belt, and Aux belt. I was told it was done when I bought it, but I didn't know the garage, so want to take sure myself.

So far I know I have to change:

1. Cam Belt
2.Tensioner

3. Aux Belt
4. Tensioner

5. Water pump

6. Alternator pulley.

So I have 6 parts (plus gaskets obvs)

What else am i missing to make this a proper job ?

I remain, as always, in awe of you all.

Don't change the water pump if it's a Volvo part, just check that it spins smoothly. The proper Volvo one is pretty much regarded as bullet proof. If it's already been changed to a non Volvo one then change it back to a Volvo one.

Great service from Mill Volvo (Newcastle). They go under the eBay name of volvotradeparts, also.

Tel 0191 274 8200

Everything supplied and delivered for £300.

The Alternator pulley is an INA part (as are other pulleys on this car) and can be had for £25 instead of the Volvo £86, from other reputable sellers.

Is the aircon pulley a separate part, and does it need changing along with the rest of the parts I have ?

No point doing 90% of a job if its worth doing that too.

I would go for Camshaft gasket as well (an example you can find under this part number 8631561). But it depends on the mileage.
