Default Updated cluster

Anyone seen this mod recently uploaded by the very helpful VolvoSweeden.

Had no idea it would be so easy to install the newer TFT style instrument cluster in place of the original ones!

Looks great and gives you coolant temps as well then! Might see how much the kits are as looks like half a morning's work!

I saw this video as well. Fantastic looking display. However I also noticed two comments from youtubers which caused me some concern: 1) the odo reading before and after was slightly different (by only a few miles but still, why?); 2) the shifter display briefly switched to reverse for some strange reason while car was driving full speed ahead. I'm all for cool upgrades but for a DIM, it had better be error free!

Looks cool but as said it would have to be error free and all features working. Not a mod for me.

Not sure if it is the case here but many Volvo's have a difference between the ODO meter on the dash and the mileage stored in the CEM. The CEM is often higher by about 15-20 miles. Not sure if this is down to testing - or explains the comments in the video?

Shame a few things don't work or would consider it. Ther are other images on their facebook page showing some cool functions. Payment via western union I wouldn't do though either.
I just bought my first Volvo this week. A 2010 S80 in mint condition.
There doesn't seem to be much modifications that can be done, even OEM.
