My Volvo S40 1.8i For Sale

Hi everyone. I'm having to sell my 1.8i Volvo S40 due to losing my job. The car has been excellent. It's an X reg (2000)

It's covered 113k miles. Last serviced at 107k with cambelt and VVT pulley replaced at the same time. Car has 6 months tax. MOT runs out on 8th September 2011.

It will need back brakes doing and a sticking caliper sorting out to pass MOT. . Easy fixes.

The car has full cream leather interior, BBS alloys, E/W, electric side mirrors, alarm, sunroof etc. A nice example. Body work is in good condition. Car drives perfect, starts first time every time. Absolute bargain. Looking for a quick sale. Would make a really nice car for someone. Bargain.£650. Car is HPI clear with V5 etc.

Damn that looks like a nice car.........BARGAIN for £650!!!!

I would buy for my other half but afraid I don't have enough for that at the moment

All the best for selling it - It shouldn't be on here long.......whack it on retrorides too - might be worth a shot?

I would have been tempted, had I not recently just bought one, so I'm all spent up at the moment. It is odd though, a number of these are proving difficult to sell at the moment. Mind you an almost matching his and hers pair would be cool (my recent purchase was a black 2004 1.9D).

Just wanted to post an update. I still have the car and it now has around 10 months MOT left. Taxed until Feb 2012.

The car is still being offered for spares or repair. Car still drives and the engine is spot on. The clutch has a judder in 1st gear and feels spongy.. I'm not sure what the problem is but I am still using the car daily travelling to my new job. And although the clutch feels a bit funny, the car still drives OK.

Was tempted to just break it for parts as it has cream leather, alloys, new pulley etc, but I havent really got the time or space.

Open To Reasonable offers.

All work talked about in the first post has been sorted. Handbreak is now perfect, caliper fixed etc.
