Wtf Volvo?!..
I love my XC60- and the main reason I bought it was the fact that I loved my V60 before it.. The one thing I just hated on the old V60 was the navi alternate route suggestions.. they just plain sucked - often times completely bollocks..
Well.. the XC60 continues the tradition.. “Would you like to drive for an extra mile in order to waste 18 minutes of your life?” And after I reject it- it will pop up another 50 times or so.. I live for the day I’ll be able to run google Maps on Sensus via Apple CarPlay.. |

Or you could be lucky like me and have the whole irritating Volvo system suddenly stop working!

I think he meant use your smart phone for navigation not sensus. Mine works ok for now, but i would probably just use a smartphone rather than get the nav system fixed if it played up.

I dont think this is a Volvo issue, I tend to find all sat nav seem to send you on a route that is not as quick as some others, I rarely take the sat nav route till I am near destination to find it.

It's a fairly average satnav (at best). I've never had a car which can't display ETA and RTA simultaneously.
My first Lexus from 15 years ago had basic satnav features which which are still missing on Volvo's latest implementation.

Yes I agree. I find the German cars have much better sat nav systems. Some of my friends tell me to use the phone for navigation but I am just too lazy to having to plug the phone in and attach to the dashboard each time I get into the car... |

I had 3 E classes before switching to an S90. It was just a pure work horse, always getting me from A to B without fuss. Typical German taxi. I couldn't resist Volvo's pioneering safety features though and switched... |
