Default Durability of Calcite Cream Leather in V50

Has anyone had experience of this colour leather interior?

It looks smart in the show room but I am concerned about the ability to keep it in good condition.

I'm told that blue colour from jeans can come off onto the seat!

My second choice may be Quartz Beige which despite its name seems to be a light grey!

Lava Grey and Off Black would not be my choice as I think they are too dark.

I would appreciate your comments.

Thanks.

Default Its in my S40

My S40 has the calcite cream interior, I've only done about 400 miles in it and I got it used with about 1200 on the clock so its not exactly had a hammering yet! So far so good but it does show up dirty marks that the valet really should have spotted. Might steer clear of driving in blue jeans just in case.

Quartz beige here, seen plenty of mud over 24k/15 months as the mountain biking sees to that. It all cleans up really well with no noticeable marks - even the carpet mats aren't too bad. Interior is nice and light also.

We were interested in this trim option, but after viewing a 2nd hand car at a well known agent in Northampton we realised that there was no way we'd ever get that colour trim.
After 10 mths of use it was filthy. Ended up going back to good old "off black". A bit boring but immensely practical.

Whatever you chose, don't forget to feed with leather food once in a while. Makes a vast diffence to how it feels and how quickly it ages.

My wife's silver 54 plate S40 has the calcite - bought it with 3006 on the clock and it's now done 13K. Warm wet cloth every now and then + the leather 'feed' and it still 'looks' clean.
No apparent marks to speak of - and luckily we don't have kids climbing all over the vehicle ...... phew

She does wear blue jeans and I can't say we've noticed any 'rub' off from them.

Yes, it's a pale colour and I'm sure in some environments it would probably take a beating - but I'd recommend it if you want a classy looking interior. It just looks so good set against the brushed steel centre console.

IMHO of course

I had a v40 with beige leather, and never had a problem keeping it clean. Beige was proper bige in the olde 40 series, not grey.

I agee with the need for regular feeding. i reckon the Aircon dries it out way too much.

I recntly went to a V50 with quartz beige, avoiding the cream due to kids and likely dirty loads. in short I shared the concerns you voice.

After a few months, with quartz beige, I can say that the quartz beige is just plain drab grey. Its not particularly resistant to dirt, and ven when clean looks kinda bland and dull.
If back in the sowroom, I'd go for the calicite cream
