Like i promised. Another reason for the poping noise.
This is what i found when taking the brake booster line out of the vacuum pump. I know for a fact my uncle V70 has a one of the engine mount not holding vacuum. (back one).
It stops..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVA3...ature=youtu.be |

I think the reason for it stopping is more likely to be a complete loss of vacuum/no load on the pump from removing the servo hose. Did you try blanking the port too & did the sound come back or not?
If the brake servo/hose leak itself was causing the sound then I'd expect removing the hose to make no difference. AFAIK a failed servo would be capable of logging a fault code too, unsure exactly how but there is a sensor in the servo that I'd expect to be part of this?

New Engine MOunts all tested. no vacuum leaks. blocking on the turbo control valve poping continues.....taking brake boost stops..
Hey guys this is what i got don't start with questions if its true or not. This is what i got...now if it is that the planet is not align with the moon an with the other planets ....i dont know. What i said was...after i tried Simon videos, my poping didnt stop...when i removed the brake boost , this is what happen. I Don't know why but it stop There are no codes and whats so ever so....take your own conclusions. I said ...THE POPING NOISE STOPED WHEN I REMOVE THE BRAKE BOOSTER....WHY_ no idea. BUT ONE THING ITS PROVEN....it stops Car brakes very well and measuring the with vacuum measurement thing it works Why ...dont know, but IT STOPS YES IT DOES..WHY??? DONT KNOW thats why i posted... Like i said....i dont know why....but mine has all the mounts working perfectly, no leaks, and it still pops. taking the brake booster line also stops. Why? don't know...one thing is right..it STOPS ......
And believe me...when you press the brake pedal...the thing WILL STOP ....SO brakes work perfectly maybe to perfectly... |

Mine pops with good mounts, no codes, runs well but I know the brake servo has a leak. Still pops when blocking the pump by the air box. Got the seal, just not got round to doing it. Guessing that’s the reason.

Stop the engine and wait 5 minutes.
Do you still have 1-2 boosted pushes on the brake pedal? After 30 minutes? The popping will stop because both sides of the vac pump are at atmospheric pressure (big booster port open). Try covering the vac pump's brake booster port with something solid (not your fingers) first partially (should start popping again) and then totally (shouldn't pop or the pump doesn't seal). It should pop only if there's air but much less than atmospheric pressure in the vac pump. Just make sure it's not pulling air from the engine pad valve/turbo governor circuit.
