Try Volvo, its surprising what they hold, can get even for older cars. They never disappointed me when I had the 1999 v70 TDI.

Hi,

Which leaf spring does that relate to? The thin Nivomat one or the thicker non nivomat/heavy duty one?

Hi Des

I am looking for the thicker one my V90 does not have the self leveling shocks although if my only option is the thinner one I might consider that and fit Nivomats if that is possible

Paul.

Mmm funny you should say that, have a 1998 TDI and its no longer possible to get a MAF sensor for it, kind of kills the car not having one! So yes for a lot of things (trim etc!) they are very good for having a stock of parts, even remember getting a leather repair kit for a 940 steering wheel, came as a leather strip, a needle and template was only about £40!

Worth trying VW/Audi for the part to fit an Audi 100/early A6 TDI? Might well be the same part number!

Wouldn't the MAF have been supplied by Bosch ?

With the spring could it be re-made ? I haven't seen one off a car so it might be far more complicated than I imagine. I read somewhere that someone was thinking of converting to coilover shocks to replace or just help out the tired original leaf. What about getting a steel one made or adapting something.

Yup and unfortunately Bosch haven't made them or the superseded part for some years now, no stock left.

Springs I am fairly sure your average engineering spring works can make a spring, theres one near me in Glasgow http://www.industrialsprings.com/index.html
