Door actuator motors
Hi everyone, I have a V70 2.4 D 2010. I have problems with my door locks/actuators. I have seen a fix on you tube by replacing the actuator motors. Doese anyone know where I could get some from, websites etc. Thanks to all.

I did mine recently.
A very straightforward job. Just follow the instructions and you will have fully functioning locks in a jiffy 👍👍

You don't have to replace the motors. Strip and clean them only takes a short while. Once you have the motors out ,two in each lock bend open the tabs that hold the end cover and brushes in place . Be careful not to damage them . The inside of the motors will probably be covered in the lock lubricant. Wash off the grease with white spirit or electrical cleaner, and clean the commutator with very fine wet and dry paper (2000 grit). To reassemble brushes can be held back with a couple of pins through two small holes in the backplate. Once backplate is in position remove the pins allowing the brushes to contact the commutator.

Door actuator problems
I all thanks for your replies, I still have a problem with my front off side lock. After the central lock has been acuatered (after driving) the door cant be opened by the door latch, unless the central lock button is pressed only then will the door latch open the door. Any ideas ? Thanks.

You don't have two-step actuation on do you? This is where only the drivers door unlocks on the first push of the button but on the second push of the button all the other door unlock?

Not sure on your car, but on mine it's (that's if I remember right)......
Menu.....scroll to car settings...... Lock settings......here you can choose to unlock either driver door only, or all. A second press of the unlock button on the fob (within a time scale) will open the others. There is also a setting for auto lock.......on or off....yours I think is currently set to on. Hope this helps.....
