Question Tyre Pressure Monitor

My Volvo V50 has just had its service and one thing they did was reset the tyre pressure monitor. I didn't even know it had one. Is there anyway to check if I have this system?

Cheers

Brian

you don't have one , what led you to believe they reset it?

They probably meant to say they reset the service light.

Our cars don't have tyre pressure monitors in them.

The fact that they stated it in the service paperwork. They stated that they had reset that AND the service reminder.

They have not configured the service sheet properly , they are individual to the particular car now rather than a general sheet like they were before 2014 .
It would be interesting to see whether it was ticked manually by the technician ..

Don't you worry I will never go back to Volvo in Ayr again. We took the service book back yesterday because they hadn't stamped it even though they stated that they had. We did get an apology though! The problem is the next nearest Volvo garage is in Glasgow. Will be going to McConechy's in Cumnock next time. They are very good and don't charge through the nose.

I know a good independent Volvo specialist in Glasgow / Clydebank.
