ClassicVolvoShop thanks for the links. There is a real nice green one on there with a cool rear end. Has given me some insparation. I notice that no one seems to have done a 4 door.

"Appletons" are the small lights mounted on the screen pillar. Should be adjustable from the inside and are usually parked with the lens facing down. Commonly faked and not working.

Ahh... I have seen them before I didnt know thats what they were called, I just called em spot light thingys, ha ha ha.

what did you do for the grill on the red one. The black one isnt chopped is it?

i used a mk1 consol rear bumper with mk2 consol overiders
the red one has the appletons i was refering to earlyer

There has been some progress, got some filler in the roof will put some pics up. The wife is expecting our 2nd baby any day now so haven't had the camera to be able to take snaps. Its in the "hospital" bag and Im not allowed to move it.

Just a quick update, got all 4 doors fitted now. None of the original windows are going to fit as the car is now sort of couped at the back. Heres a quick pic. Really needs someone standing next to it to see how low it is.
