Default Door trim/rattle

I had the C30 drivers door rattle fixed whilst under warranty within first few months. now it has returned the noise ( and out of warranty) it sounds like a piece of metal buzzing/dirlling against sheet somewhere at rear edge of door. I am concerned that is the window track or some similar part slowly working loose. how easy is it to free the trim on door or does it need a whole new set of plastic trim clips etc. I can't really see any screws or ony thing to hold it tight (oh for the days of trim held on with self tappers!)

It's probably either your locking pin for some reason they start to rattle with the pin down if you unlock the door the rattle/ buzz stops. Not too sure on a fix its the one I haven attacked yet. Or it could be the ball bearing in the seatbelt retractor that's mounted right at your ear in the b piller. Ithe noise can't be stopped but it can be dulled by wrapping the bottom of the mechanism with heavy sound deadening. But its an on going battle with my car some I need more sound absorber to line that panel stuff like dynamat doesn't work you need high density foam.

Default frustrating rattle

Tied th elock unlock option a few times, sometimes goes away others not

Oh well worth a try, I will turn up the stereo!!

Why have they decided to mount the belt high up rather than the floor mount through a loop as used to do??

It's probably something to do with the sips. ot looks like there might be an airbag in the lower section of the b piller.
