Default 121 breaking - anybody want to save it ?

My classic Volvo garage (www.scantrade.ch) in Switzerland is going to break a 121. (1967 by my guess). The car was stored 15 years in a barn, and a restoration was started, but not completed. There is a lot of work.

Anybody interested in saving it ? if so send me a pm and I can help with discussions with the owner (he only speaks German).

Correction : I found the chassis information on Volvo Amazon Picture Galery, so it's a 2 door meaning a 130. M does means a 1967 model year. Car is LHD.

Actually the garage owner is also on the committee of the Swiss Amazon Club.

I know of the other club you mention, but they are very small and specialised in the 123gt

The garage is really a great garage and restoration shop. But I guess it's a business too, and they have decided it's uneconomical to restore.

If they are going to break it then I wonder how much they want for the bumpers...I only live in Vevey (a 2hr drive)...and I need a good set for my 2 door.

I've used Scantrade for my old 67 estate, their English is better than my German...so communication is limited.

It seems a shame to break the car...

Agreed, shame to break the car. Give Hans Maurer a call though for the bumpers.
