Shame a rare body kit, 16" Hydras and twin exhaust reside on a 2.0GL! That really must be all show no go!

He's made himself out to be a liar if you read it :

"DOSE 32-34 TO THE GALEN WILL DO 100 MILES ON £10 OF PETROL "

Last time i looked, petrol was about £7/gallon (see, i can spell gallon! ) so a tenners worth is going to be about 1.5 gallons. Make the maths easy, 34mpg x 1.5 is 51 miles on £10 of petrol. Unless petrol is only £3.50/gallon down in Hertforshire (which i doubt!) then he either A) can't add up or B) tells porkies or C) all of the above!

Of course, if he's telling porkies about the economy, what else is he hiding?

I like it - a bit tarty, but only in the same way that every modern white-coloured eurobox is.

It was 1971 - "Bloody hell, nearly 6 bob for a gallon of petrol!" cursed my dad. Me being barely out of nappies didn't quite realise exactly what he meant until i was slightly older.

Don't forget that chart shows the average price for the whole year including regional variations and price fluctuations as well.
