Default Transmission changes low gears roughly

Last year October, I purchased a MY23 V90 CC B5p Ultimate brand new with 0 miles. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car, however this is not the case with the Aisin's 8 speed transmission. It changes 1-2-3(?) gears very roughly even when I drive it very light footed. The situation is even worse one I come to a full stop and the transmission changes 3-2-1 very hesitant and roughly. It's very situational as it's totally random (or seems to me). Sometimes, I can't stop the car smoothly at a red light or queue, sometimes it works well.

Is it normal? I would expect silk-smooth changes in all cases from a car costs 70k.

It already has around 6-7k miles (90% on dual carriageways or country roads) in the odometer, but it hasn't improved since I picked it up at the dealership.

This was a common problem at least with the 321 down shift thumps, my car did this on the down shift when slowing down, there have been several transmission optimisation updates and mine is now smooth up and down the box, talk to your dealer about this issue, they should be able to resolve it.
I have read on this forum that the gearbox learning (yes the gearbox learns and adapts) can be reset by putting selector in offroad mode (if you have this mode) and driving beyond the 30mph offroad limit when the gearbox automatically turns off the offroad mode and reverts to comfort mode. But again best option either way is mention it to dealer at next service and get them to update software.

I have installed all the updates (AAOS car), but those "drivetrain optimisations" update notes are bull**** in my opinion, as I haven't experienced any changes.

I have offroad mode, which can be turned on in the menu of the centre display, so I am not sure it would have the same effect.

I will definitely tell the dealer but my next oil change is due in October.
