Stereo/DVD: S80 T6 Executive and IMIV video

Hi

I have just fitted an IMIV Classic and am having problems with video display on the sat nav screen. Basically there isn't any display at all.

I have a 2004 S80 T6 Executive with the following factory fitted equipment:

DVD Sat Nav
HU 801
Twin rear screens with DVD mounted in the rear of the front center console

connected to 32GB iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 via IMIV Classic


The IMIV unit and the rest of the system works as it should with the exception of the video picture from the IMIV unit failing to display on the sat nav sceeen. The audio from an external video source plugged into the IMIV unit plays fine through the cars audio system but the sat nav screen goes black when TV2 is selected and that's it!

I am currently in contact with Volvotech (The Netherlands) who supplied the IMIV and it seems that they are scratching their heads just as much as me. The sent me new firmware yesterday and it made no difference.

As I have already said. Everything in the system works as it should, which, to me at least, suggests that everything is connected properly). The IMIV unit (brilliant piece of kit) works great when in ipod mode and when "MD changer" is selected but as soon as "Television" - TV1 (Ipod) and TV2 IMIV AUX) are selected I hear audio but no video picture is fed to the sat nav screen.

I am just hoping that one of you will have an idea which might solve this little problem

Have you got the video cable that connects IMIV with RTI unit?

Yes.
I got an awnser from volvotech.eu and he said that it does not work with the iphone 5/5s. Only up to 4s.
