Default Custom Fit Boot Liner / Protector

Hi All,

I am thinking of buying one of these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tailored-S...item43ae61e37a

to enable me to transport my two German Shepherds around without ruining the boot carpet with dirt / dog hair.

Has anyone purchased one of these, and, if so, would you recomend them?

Many Thanks,

Mike

Have you tried asking a main dealer? When I bought mine from my dealer they were 50% off. That was about a year ago.

Clucking bell £75 !

I bought a genuine Volvo one (2nd hand) off flee bay for about £25, recall checking with local dealer and they had a new one for about £50 ish.

But that aside they do keep the boot area tidy, very easy to clean - just remove and shake / wipe down.

I bought something similar from ebay a couple of years ago. New £25, but it was shorter on the sides and rear than this one looks - only half the height.
I'd ask them for a photo of the cover fitted to an XC90 first before handing over any money. The car used in the photo doesn't have the XC's side storage bins.

If their XC90 version of the cover also comes up to the level of the windows and top of the rear seats, it would offer better protection than mine does.

When we bought our xc90 we bought a boot liner from Volvo as we have 2 gsd's also . The sides stop staying up over time but other than that it stops the general muck getting on the important things . It doesn't stop the muck flying when they have a shake though .

I have the ident cover in my 90.

Got it off flea bay albeit a few quid cheaper.

I have a Lab and JR, Fish and shoot so ideal.

Can't vouch for genuine Volvo cover as when I asked, was quoted almost £95 when VAT was added.

Really pleased with it and would recommend it.

I haven't got the dog cover just the fitted plastic one from Towequipe and it's lasted 5 years very well and fits perfectly - too slippy for dogs though needs a rug on top
Also had one for an old Passat and a friend has one in his xc60
Good kit in my experience, but not necessarily what you want as too slippery and no sides. Just a recommendation for the supplier

I have had two of these in previous cars, you can get them on Ebay for around 20 to 30 quid and will fit perfectly around the moldings in the boot.
I have two dogs and they are great for this
