Looking into the crystal ball I see you finding that your B18 sump doesn't mate up with your new oil pump. Sump baffle tray just needs a bit nibbled out from it to make it fit. Currently, I can't find a picture showing the mod but someone may have one. I think Volvo issued a data sheet which showed what to do.
If not the case, good luck with your search.

Hi
Mr Thirsty yes please
can you post and how much please

Derek UK
well the B20 sump bolts on to the B230 block
but is shallower so will need to shorten the oil pump
but then the road for easy derivable power up grades it there

to get a B230 in the amazon i had the engine in and out lots of times
because i cut the sump about so i think this might be a better way
only time will tell

Just fit a pump to suit from a b20 slides right in have done it is driven by the cam but slots in fine

You need the b20 sump with oil temp pickup plus the b20 oil pump , custom engine mounts and your good to go also clearing the crossmember then is reason for the sump switch

Kind regards
