Default Sun roof repairs

Hi, My 2001 S40 has a problem with the sun roof. Two steel bars came unglued inside the sun roof and were rattling around. Now the shade is out of position and the glass will not close all the way because the shade is in front of it. Why Volvo would glue heavy strips of steel on instead of screws is beyond me! does any one have a diagram or info on how to fix it myself.
Thanks.

I was able to get the shade back under the glass, now it will close. I can see where the two metal bars were glued to the underside of the glass. I will try to reglue them on. That is a funny way of doing things, gluing steel bars under the glass. It looks like they are to push and pull the shade closed.
