Removing bar from back of rear twin seat
Hi,
I'm not sure what it's called but there is a bar that is attached to the back of the rear twin seat. It holds a flap that covers the gap between the rear seats and the extendable boot cover. How do you remove it though. If i fold down the rear single seat this bar still goes across the gap so limiting what you can fit in. Thanks for any advice |

Are you on about the dog net guard bar or the actual boot load cover shelf itself??
If it is the actual boot load cover shelf then the very ends retract in to be able to take it out and when put back in psition you extend them out. there is button like bit on the top you push, then pull the end to retract (only about 2 inches or so each side). This then allows you to lift the whole shelf out of the vehicle. If you are on about the sits along the back of the rear seats and when in place you have to fold both seats down at once, this is just slotted into position over a couple of metal guide/runners. You just have to give this a good hard thump to remove, iirc this removes from right to left. Basically fold rear seats down and thump from the right hand side (off side / driver side) and thedog guard net bar will then be removed out of the rear left side door (near side / passenger side). I've not actually put mine back in place yet but can remember when I firt took it out that I was struggling with it for a good half hour. |

Thanks for your reply.
It's the bar that's fixed to the twin rear seats. I thought it must come off, now I know it just needs a good hard thump I'll give that a go. Thanks again .....may the force be with u |
