Why would it apply only to 2.0D engines?
Just wondering out of interest why it wouldnt be the case on T5 for example?

does anyone know what the 2 relays do in the CEM i have checked all the fuses but dont know if these relays have anything to do with the immobiliser fault that i have.i havent checked the numbers on them but if there the same i could try swapping them with the ones in the fuse box near the battery ?
thanks
Hi Buddy, check the wiring under the battery tray, you will need to remove the battery, as far as the cem is concerned try 07977660678 for a GREAT service at a fair price... Good luck

Had the immobiliser see manual fault a while back.

holding the key in position 3 and hitting it with a hammer sorted it for me. Loose connections on the transponder ring can cause it.
