Default Bluepower System BLP-990

Hi All,

I have just ordered the full BLP-990 kit (DAB+, Headunit, Maps and Reversing Camera).

Can anyone tell me the best place to mount the reversing camera?
and
Has anyone installed the DVD unit in any other location than the glove compartment?

It for a V50 - 2011 with a Highperformance system in place.

Thanks

Just to add to the previous comments about Bluepower.

The BLP-990 does work OK with cars that have base audio systems but not 100% and Bluepower support for this unit seems to have stopped.

Still waiting on software/firmware updates to fix bugs in the system.

Still waiting for a refund on return carriage for the first faulty unit I was sent.

Such a shame, this product has the potential to be absolutely brilliant but just lacks the finishing touches.

Let us know how you get on with it and how well it works please. I've been looking at this system for a while but always back myself out of ordering one.

Cheers

Hmm, a few years ago I had a Chinese head unit that ran that and there were some excellent apps and tutorials on the web to enhance them no end. If the software they run on the volvo side, i.e. The main bits like the oem heater controls etc....... you could add some apps to make them much better. Remember using stuff like Tom Tom and other bits.
