Default Dead console

Hi all

I went out to the c30 on Saturday only to find that the centre console won't illuminate at all and non of the buttons in the console work. No climate control, no radio, no menu - nothing. The speedo/rev counter is working correctly.

I did a little research and thought maybe it was the icm. I found a used one on eBay but having fitted it today it hasn't worked.

Any ideas?????

Not sure what you mean by the ICM - the block of switches etc in the middle?

Anyway, most of these sorts of parts can't just be replaced but need coding to the car by a dealer...that may be your problem.

Initially, are you sure your problem wasn't just the plug at the back coming loose for some reason?

David

The ICM is the screen at the top of the buttons under where the CD goes in. I've tried all the plugs and nothing changes.

Sounds like it might be an dealer visit to see if they can diagnose, hopefully at not at too much cost.

Ah...of course...sounds like you need a dealer; sorry I can't help any further!

Good luck!
