The new London Ultra Low Emission Zone requires Euro 4 for petrol cars in order to avoid the surcharge.
So, if you put your registration number in the ULEZ vehicle checker here and it passes then it is Euro 4, or if it fails then it isn't.

direct from the site

Enforcement of the ULEZ will be based on the declared emissions of the vehicle rather than the age. Generally speaking, petrol cars that meet the emissions standards are those registered after 2005. However cars that meet the ULEZ standards have been available since 2000.
that's good for me as my car is euro 5 as its registered at the start of 2014 but does meet euro 6 emissions, diesels have to meet euro 6, to my surprise it tells me:

You are not subject to the ULEZ
I checked on wiki here EU emission standards

According to https://carfueldata.vehicle-certific...spx?vid=659560 it is a Euro 4. I have made some assumptions (March 2002, Manual gearbox).

If you click on the link under description you get a full page of data. Near the bottom of that page it says Euro 4.
