Default 1989 Volvo 480ES, £595, Sutton Bridge

Model: Volvo 480ES (White) 1.7
Year: 1989
Mileage: 30000
Tax: End Oct
MOT: 19th October 2012
Location: Sutton Bridge, Lincs
Price: £595

Additional Information:
We're selling our 480ES as it just doesn't get used, it's only been out 7 times this year and the latest of those was to get a fresh MOT.

The car has only had one former keeper until we bought it in January this year. The original owner was an elderly lady hence the low miles. The car is a very solid example with an almost mint interior (early blue stripe cloth). A lot of the parts that commonly break like the seatbet arms and the boot release surround are all present and correct. Unfortunately the exterior does need some tidying, as there are quite a few knocks and scrapes and the car has had a cheap respray at some point in it's history, and like most 480s water is getting into the boot area. The exhaust has a slight blow, but it wasn't enough to worry the MOT tester. The tester also commented on how solid the car was underneath. All in all I'd say this was a good example of the early 480 that just needs a bit of TLC.

We fitted a new battery in May, and the car comes with the Sealey charger in the photo which has been modified to plug into a socket on the bumper so the previous owner could keep it on charge easily.

With the 1.7 engine this car averages around 40mpg, and has quite a few toys including electric windows, power steering, trip computer, heated seats, auxillery gauges etc.
