General: 850: - Engine cutting out

very frustrating fault, the 850 starts first time after running for a few miles stop switch her off wait a few minutes try to restart her and she will not start, stop trying to start her wait a few minutes and she starts up, sometime she will cut out on the move usually when running down hill again she will not restart until left for a few minutes.
changed cam sensor, crank sensor, injector relay and coil. no fault showing on diagnostic test, any advice.

do not know will check tomorrow my model is a 1994 5 cylinder automatic 2ltr.

How will I now which injector system I have, she is a 1994 2ltr automatic 5 cylinder petrol engine

please help tried most things but still can not sort the problem out, how do I find out which injection system is fitted? drive about 3 miles to petrol station switch off engine fill up pay return to car and she will not start wait a few minutes and she starts straight away not good in a busy station!

Hi,

Is it a 10v or 20v?

10v will say "DOHC" on the cam cover, 20v will say "20 Valve"

when it doesnt start try wiggling the ignition key in the barrell and see if this gets it to start, if this works u will need to get a new immobiliser ring

Did you change the coil? They use to fail when hot (too hot!).

she is a 20v i have changed the coil i will try the key thanks for the ongoing help

I have changed the coil, cam sensor, crank sensor, injector relay.
