(should have read "so.. is IT official" )....does reaching 100,000 miles mean that my V70 is officially RUN IN.???

Just got back from a week in the Peak District...the beast performed effortlessly as usual...and just as we entered the village where we live..the milometer clicked over to 100k miles. ...only another 1 or 2 hundred thousand miles to go and I can claim she's a high miler.!!!

My 850 reached 202,000 last week and the trip meter and the mileometer(?) have stopped working! I'm gutted!

Glad you enjoyed the Peak District. My S60 is also getting close to being run in - 97,500 now, a couple of hundred this weekend and then a further 3 weeks for the remaining miles, should get there by the time it is 4.5 years old (end of Sept).... Might give it a wash to celebrate

I had a company car a White Vauxhall Astra "C" reg that when I had to hand it back for another had 160,000 miles on in just over 2 years. Might have been a low spec workhorse, but it was relaible and we enjoyed it.

Present V50 is only on 116,000 miles on an 05 plate.
