I have recently bought a set of door cards to replace mine that got chewed by the dog (its a long story). The new ones I have got have the speakers in them, so when I get around to changing them, you can have my old ones, howeveri I am not sure if they will come out in one piece as the whole assemby is glued onto the back of the door card and I think that any attempts to remove them will wreck them.
Once I change the cards I will try to retrieve the speakers in one piece and will let you both know if I have been sucessful.

I finally got around to changing my door cards last weekend, so had a go at removing the speakers last night but the whole plastic assembly is glued to the door card and it has been impossible to remove them without destroying the speakers (and one of the wife's best kitchen knives!).
I think the only way is for you to find replacement cards from a breakers.

Thanks for the reply! Hmm, I assume they just plug in to the speaker as well? I could always disconnect the tweeter...

Default tweeter replacement

I am faced with the same problem of a crackling tweeter.
Did anyone manage to replace one successfully without getting a whole new door card?
Would something like this be covered under warranty?
