My goodness thats a clean car - a real credit to all your hard work. Your towbar looks interesting as, years ago, I had one of that design on my 164. The guy I bought the car from said he'd cracked the chassis where it mounted when he was towing a big trailer with his stationary engine on it to a show. That was a bit of work to repair....... I replaced it with one that picks up on the 6 mountings for the rear bumper (3 each side) as at least the towing strains were spread over the entire rear panel. Mind you, I don't have a stationary engine......

It will come off the road end of the year again for front wings to be repaired before they get to bad, just starting to go round headlights.
Fitted new electronic distributor, runs lovely now
It's a 1972 Auto

That's a lovely looking car. I really like the attention to detail you are applying to its restoration. A real credit to you.
I do hope you enjoy driving it as much as you clearly enjoy restoring it.

By heck Jeff, on seeing this post I've decided to pack up showing from now on
cause knowing how you turn vehicles out the rest of the line up won't stand a chance. Not really got much chance to chat with you of late but I had my suspicions you were joining the 140 clan, having seen bits and pieces on the 140 forum asking for parts etc. She looks a very nice motor from the photos, I do like that colour just like my first early 1972 140 with the alloy grill and the lower indicators. All the best

Cheers, needs a lot of work to make mint.
Not really in any hurry just going to enjoy her and do bits over the winter months. 😉

Lovely looking car Jeff, and as others have said, a real credit to your efforts.

Enjoy - you clearly are!
