Default 2002 V40 Bi-Fuel issue

Hi,

I have owned my Volvo 7 years now and it no longer wants to stay running on lpg!

Its starts and runs fine on unleaded, switches over to lpg as normal once the engine has warmed some but then reverts back to Unleaded after a random length of time. The switch then will maybe get the lpg on the dash to come on briefly and straight off again and you feel the slight judder as the fuels change over.

I just had the MOT done and asked my mechanic to have a look. He says there is a third senor near the cat which is some temperature sensor for the LPG circuit to enable it to switch to lpg once warmed sufficiently. Unfortunately this is either damaged or corroded and he believes this is why it will not stay running on LPG and reverts back to Unleaded.

Unfortunately, I can find no reference to this or any replacement part.

Can someone help me?

Cheers,
Ian
