Forget them if your selling a car, £250 for a T5r?, no wonder they will collect, usually they say you have to take anything to them. e-bay it if you need more cash quick.

Saw this thread and thought I'd see how much they would offer my for my S plate S40 with DVD, built in read monitors and aftermarket alloys - the princely sum of £155.00 - I could sell the alloys alone for more than that!

IMO they just exploit the desperate, the stupid or the extremely lazy. Anything retailable goes to the Carcraft group of supermarkets who also own webuyanycar.

It's a very cheap way of getting stock and making lots of money into the bargain - wish I'd thought of it!

55 plate S60 T5 Sport 51k on the clock FSH - £4700

BUT also read the small print - that price was if they kept the £150 worth of road tax which was on the car and would also be minus an "adminstration charge". Yes, they make you pay for their admin when they buy your car.

I just sold that car for two grand more than that. Enough said.
