Wow what a difference that makes! Just went out and had a look at the TCV, looks like its been replaced at some point with a used one. unplugged it and gave it a couple of taps, plugged it back in and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOST!

Wheel spin in 1st,2nd & 3rd.... very happy! Off to get it remapped next week now :-D

I'll order a replacement TCV from ebay just in case that quick tap doesn't last

Looks like you may have found your problem.

A TCV does degrade over time and I factor these items in to a long term service schedule. I would replace the TCV's (working fine or not) every 3 to 4 years.

Enjoy.

I also have issues with loss of power, which I suspect is some thing to do with DPF pressure hoses. I have changed the DPF sensor and no luck. The car generally is fine for the first start of the day, and will be fine for as long as I drive it until I turn her off. Then if I start her again after a short period of time it will be in limp mode, but leave for a few hours and all will be fine again! Was worse in hot weather. Driving me crazy. A diagram would be a great help.
