Andy - It's a long way for a bulb as currently in South of France, more than welcome to try though haha!

kmb, had all the work done including the brake fluid. Can't say it's transformed the brakes unfortunately, so I might half-heartedly keep my eyes peeled for a set of ST brakes...

What exactly did you put on ? (brakes size/brand/fluid type?) Weird it didnt make any difference.... did you replace flexi hoses to braided ones?

Hi LoB, regarding the brakes I just replaced the brake fluid as I've no record of when it was last done. Overall I find the standard brakes a little underwhelming.

Main work was cambelt and ancilliaries, 'block mod', service, plus brake fluid, cabin pollen filter and replacing the old rear Eibach springs (which the original owner fitted when the car was new) for brand new Eibachs that have now raised the back end 8mm – was hoping for 10mm but 8mm is cool as it was looking a little too low for my liking!

oh, sorry, I thought you had put the grooved/drilled discs. No wonder replacing fuild didnt do much for you, if old one was still ok or "within parameters" it wouldnt do much. If you are looking for better brake feel, well recommended are braided brake hoses - it does change the braking characteristic a lot and you will find pedal less "squishy".
probably cheapest mod of all brake mods.
