2.0 diesel inlet pipe bracket/egr.
Hi guys n gals.
I'm hoping some kind ppl on here can either reassure me one way or the other. I'm finishing off a egr clean on my 2.0 diesel. Its an 2009 with the french/ford engine. All was going well but I'm a little stumped. Putting it all back together I've noticed the 8mm bolt that holds the big turbo pipe to the egr on the back of the engine, the pipe just has a hole, no spacer/bush to speak of. The hole is far bigger than the bolt. I'm wondering if the pipe had a spacer/bush in it thats dropped out whilst I've been working or does the pipe bracket simply sit flush to the egr casting and has nothing more than this 8mm headed bolt? Any help to put my mind at rest and finish this job off would be appreciated. Tia, D. Last edited by Sisis85; Jan 23rd, 2019 at 21:13. |
