Does the VW sensor work also for the 2003/2004 version?

Hi, What was the code you had after fitting?

I have just tried an Ebay Chinese sourced part no 1K0 907 659 in a 2006MY V70, the original DTC was CCM-0040.

After replacing, the DTC was CCM-DD00 and Vida/Dice could not pick up any of the CCM components when the identify components program was run, only to be expected when there was a rogue signal on the bus, it didn't even start the damper motors.

Anybody had a definite good result other than Yosser (was that a facelift model)? If so, can you post a link to the source?

I can verify that the same item worked in my 2005 XC90 D5 also. Whole job took around 20 minutes from start to finish. Checked with VIDA afterwards, and fault cleared and codes removed.

I wonder if the same can be said about brake pressure sensors, cos geez, even off eBay scrappers they're not cheap.

Just got the part from this supplier, but it took down LIN BUS 1, so passenger heating controls also not fully effective (just cold air), also gives CCM-DD00

Disconnecting it clears the fault, I have asked the supplier to resupply or refund, I'll post back on the success.

A little note to others changing the part, make sure the washer is transferred to the new part, otherwise it feels very loose when fitted.

And if you're going to a scrap yard for the VW sensor...

Here's a list of vehicles the VAG part is fitted to

I appreciate this is a very old thread..... but sods law, I now need a AQS for my MY2005 XC90......
