Hi. Is there someone with a B14 timing gear please. I am not sure if this B14 gear is the same as the B18 or B20 ones. Can someone please help. Ta Kassie 078 2887 9494

It might be the same as the B16 one but I'd think it's unlikely to be the same as a B18/20 one
I had a B16 one fail on a B16 back in the 60's and the fibre gear was only held onto the steel centre by coarse knurling. It just failed instantly with no warning as the gear came adrift from the centre. Engine stopped and I coasted to the side of the road, in town as it happens. The B18/20 ones have star-shaped centre and will knock and rattle but still drive when they start to fail. Been there done that. Drove OK! Final result for me here. Watch both videos.

If these will clean up they are cheap, even with postage from the USA
