V70 p2 TV tuner question

Hi this is my second v70 with the TV, now I know it can be modded to freeview but I was wondering if anyone knows what the spare 13pin socket is for?
I have seen one on ebay with something plugged into it but no idea what it is, so was hoping one of you clever people on here may know?

Hi,

If you are referring to the round 'DIN' socket this is the link to the CD changer or in the picture you have uploaded the iPod adaptor is in place of the CD Changer. The system is 'daisy chaining' for want of better words.

The system can have a CD Changer, MD Changer or the iPod adaptor (which the system thinks is a CD changer) in the last position in the 'chain'. I'm not sure how many possible thinks can be in the chain.

Can you let me know how you have freeview on your TV as I would be interested to know. Not sure if an imported car can be converted anyway as NSTC not PAL.
